The Nagarjun Learning Center was founded by Shreejan Simkhada and Samjhana Basukala — the same team behind The Everest Holiday, a government-registered trekking and tour company based in Kathmandu since 2016.
As a three-generation Himalayan family with expertise dating back to the 1960s, we know the mountains and the communities that call them home. Through The Everest Holiday, we share Nepal's stunning landscapes, culture, and hospitality with travelers from around the world. Through NLC, we invest back into the remote villages we grew up in — bringing education, healthcare, and opportunity to those who need it most.
Every trek booked with The Everest Holiday directly supports the mission of the Nagarjun Learning Center. When you travel with us, you don't just explore Nepal — you help build its future.
